RF CARTRIDGE
|
|
This is a micro controller based two way radio
transceiver to control the remote device on a 0 – 10v
DC control voltage . The transceiver transmit and
receives appropriate control signals at 433.9MHz. On
receiving the control signal ,if the zone address matches
with that particular RF cartridge the conformation of
correct signal is indicated by turning ‘ON’ an LED and
simultaneously the requested control is executed and it
retransmits the acknowledge back. If the zone address does
not matches with that particular RF cartridge, then it
will act as “REPEATER” to route that zone address and
level. | |

OCCUPANCY SENSOR |
|
These are switching devices that respond to the
presence and absence of people in the sensor's field of
view. The system consists of a movement detector, an
electronic control unit, and a controllable switch ( RF
Transmitter ) . The movement detector senses movement
and sends the appropriate signal to the control unit. The
control unit then processes the input signal to RF
transmitter to transmit signal at frequency 433.92MHz RF
Cartridge fixed with electronic ballast receives signals
and converts as analog signal which controls electronic
ballast of lamps.
The movement sensor has been
refined so that it responds not only to the presence of
occupants, but also to the absence of occupants in the
space. The technology have centered on reducing costs,
increasing control intelligence, improving ability to
detect minor movement, and increasing adjustment
capabilities. Ultrasonic occupant sensors activate a
quartz crystal that emits ultrasonic waves throughout
space. The unit then senses the frequency of the reflected
waves. If there is movement, the reflected wave's
frequency will shift slightly (Doppler effect). Ultrasonic
sensors operate at frequencies that are above human
sensitivity (20 kHz). Typical operating frequencies are
25, 30, and 40 kHz. The ultrasonic sound waves cover the
entire area in a continuous fashion -- there are no blind
spots or gaps in the coverage pattern. For this reason
ultrasonic sensors are somewhat more sensitive to
movement. For example, hand movement can be detected at
a distance of about 20 feet, arm and full body movement
can be detected out to over 25 feet. (The sensitivity
range of different products will vary significantly.) .

DAYLIGHT HARVESTER |
|
The lighting system
consists of mainly two components. The transmitter and the
receiver sections. The receiver section consists of RF
receiver cartridges, which are connected to the dimmable
ballast. These cartridges have address ranging from 1 to
250.This gives them a unique identity and enables them to
be zoned i.e. a group of lights can be configured to
have the same address (zone). This enables the light
levels in a section to be set to the desired level by the
user using transmitters.
The RF transmitters enable
the user to communicate with the RF receivers to set
the desired light level. The levels range from 1 to 6 with
level 1 being off and level 9 being full bright. The user
selects the desired zone and the level in the transmitter
to control the lights in a particular section.
FUNCTIONS : Depending upon the light sensed by
the antenna in the Daylight Harvester, It compares it with
the Zone and light level set by the user.
Depending
on the variation between these two parameters, the day
light harvester transmits RF signal to the Dimmable
Lighting System. (Either Dimming or Full Bright or ON /
OFF)
The RF cartridge, fitted with dimmable
ballast, receives the RF signal from the Transmitter and
performs the required task of either Dimming or Full
Bright or ON / OFF. | |

Handheld
Transceiver |
|
The Dimmable lighting system
consists of mainly two parts . One is transmitter and
another one is receiver section. The receiver section
consists of RF receiver cartridge, which is connected to
the dimmable ballast. This cartridge has address
ranging from 000 to 255. This gives an unique identity and
enables RF Cartridge to be zoned i.e. a group of lights
can be configured to have the same address (zone). This
enables the light levels in a section to be set to the
desired level by the user using Hand held trans
receivers . The RF transmitters enables the user to
communicate with the RF receivers to set the desired light
level. The levels range from 1 to 9 with level 1 being off
and level 9 being full bright. The user selects the
desired zone and the level in the transmitter to control
the lights in a particular section. The Two Way Handheld
Transmitter is a remote based light controlling unit. The
unit consists of RF transmitter.
Select the zone
and the level that has to be controlled by the transmitter
to provide the user with the required light comfort. User
can select the zone and levels from 1 to 9 from the
software to control the light intensity in that zone.

Wireless
Thermostat (A/c controller)
The WIRELESS
THERMOSTAT is a standalone device which can Maintain a
constant room Temperature by switching ON and OFF the
Cooling system according to the user set Temperature
level. This Device can be configured to user comfort level
sitting on his desk.
FUNCTIONS: The system consists of a
Temperature sensor, Amplifier, Analog to Digital converter
and an MCU. The sensor senses the present Ambient
Temperature and generates a corresponding analog signal
which is amplified and fed to a Analog to Digital
Converter. The Digital data generated is processed by
the MCU to determine the ON or OFF state of the Air
conditioner based on the User set Ambient Temperature
Level. | |
